6-bolt / 2G Auto Trans Kit w/ Flex Plate

This kit allows a 6-bolt engine to be mated with a 2g automatic transmission without destroying the transmission pump.

Includes adapter plate, long dowels, pilot bushing, and SFI 29.1 flexplate.

• Includes bolt patterns for 1g and 2g torque converters
• Allows use of 8 bolts with a converter modified to accept 8 bolts
• Thicker and Stiffer design helps keep bolts tight in high power applications

• May require rear cover lower flange edges trimmed
• Inspection cover will no longer fit
• Uses a single starter plate
• Recommended to grind converter bolts to length and head height clearance and torque to 50ft-lbs with red loctite
• 1g applications can use Allen bolts for the converter
• M10x1.5 is early 1g and M10x1.25 is all other
• SFI 29.1 Approved
